{"CustomTextID":"ee92ee5c-89ac-44fc-a9d3-d0806001627e","Heading":"Terms and Conditions","Body":"<p hidden><span>TERMS AND CONDITIONS<br/></p></span>\r\n<p><span>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark assists in visa application processing (\"Services\"), which you can order and pay for at applyvisa.um.dk (\"Website\"). </span></p>\r\n<p><span>The following terms and conditions (\"Terms\") apply to Services purchased on the Website.</span></p>\r\n<p><span></span></p>\r\n<p><strong><span>ORDERING SERVICES<br/></span></strong>\r\n<span>When ordering Services on the Website, you will receive an email confirming your order immediately after you place the order.</span></p>\r\n<p><span></span></p>\r\n<p><strong><span>FEES</span></strong>\r\n<span><br/>Applicants must pay the visa fee specified in the Visa Code* and in  </span><span style=\"color:black;\"><a href=\"https://um.dk/en/travel-and-residence/payment-for-services\"><span>The Executive Order on Payment for Services Provided by the Danish Foreign Service</span></a></span><span> (\"Executive Order\") and Annex 1 thereto. The Executive Order also sets forth certain exemptions. <br/> <br/>Even if you are fee exempt, you may have to pay the visa fee in order to complete the registration of your application. When the processing of the visa application starts, </span><span>any excess payment will be refunded by the </span><span>Ministry of Foreign Affairs</span><span> in accordance with the Executive Order. </span><span><br/><br/>If the Danish Embassy or Consulate finds that your visa application is not admissible or has not been submitted to the competent authority, your payment for the application will automatically be refunded in accordance with article 18 and 19 in the Visa Code*. You have to inform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if your bank details have changed since you applied for a visa and you have an outstanding refund. </span></p>\r\n<p><span>The fee constitutes the visa case processing fee. This means that the fee will not be refunded if the processing of your visa application has begun. The visa processing has started when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received all the necessary documents and biometrics and started the assessment of the visa application. The fee will not be refunded in case you are not granted a visa.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>All fees are specified in either Danish kroner (DKK) or euro (EUR) and include customs and excise duties, etc. VAT is not charged on Services purchased on the Website.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>Claims for refund of the visa fee have a limitation period of 3 years, cf. section 3, subsection 1, of the Limitation Act (Forældelsesloven)</span></p>\r\n<p><span></span></p>\r\n<p><strong><span>PAYMENT</span></strong>\r\n<span><br/>When ordering Services on the Website, you can pay with the following payment cards:</span></p>\r\n<p><span>Dankort<br/>\r\nVisa-Dankort<br/>\r\nVisa<br/>\r\nMasterCard<br/>\r\nJCB<br/>\r\n</span></p>\r\n<p><span>After placing your order, the amount will be debited your account. Any excess payment will later be refunded to your account by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in accordance with the Executive Order.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>Payment is made through our payment service provider, Nets. The ordering and payment process is encrypted via a secure connection (HTTPS via SSL). The payment details you have entered when making the order are encrypted, which means that only the payment service provider has access to them. Neither the Ministry of Foreign Affairs nor anyone else has access to the payment details.</span></p>\r\n<p><span></span></p>\r\n<p><strong><span>RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL</span></strong>\r\n<span><br/>You have the right to withdraw your purchase order. However, once the processing of your visa application has started, the visa application fee will not be refunded.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>Withdrawing an order requires that you inform the relevant Danish Embassy or Consulate of your decision to cancel the order in a clearly worded statement (e.g., by letter or email). Please also submit all relevant information in your withdrawal, i.e.:</span></p>\r\n<p><span>- Date of the visa application fee payment<br/>\r\n- Name of applicant<br/>\r\n- Address of applicant<br/>\r\n- Signature of applicant (only if the content of the form is submitted on paper)<br/>\r\n</span></p>\r\n<p><strong><span>COMPLAINTS</span></strong>\r\n<span><br/>If you wish to complain about your purchase, please contact us directly by phone, email or standard mail. If we are unable to find a solution, you may submit a complaint to the Danish Dispute Resolution Centre, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, if the complaint relates to purchase of Services provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You can submit a complaint to the Danish Dispute Resolution Centre via www.forbrug.dk (</span><span><a href=\"http://www.forbrug.dk\"><span>http://www.forbrug.dk</span></a></span><span>). If the Danish Dispute Resolution Centre cannot find a solution, you can submit a complaint to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board via www.forbrug.dk (</span><span><a href=\"http://www.forbrug.dk\"><span>http://www.forbrug.dk</span></a></span><span>). You may also use the European Commission's online complaint portal when submitting your complaint.
